Homecoming Pancake Breakfast
SAC’s annual Homecoming Pancake Breakfast is a breakfast held for students, alumni and community members and is one of our organization’s best fundraising events. Leadership Council members have a sleepover at the alumni house and wake up at 5 a.m. to cook pancakes for alumni and students on the morning of the homecoming parade. Attendees of the breakfast also get prime seating for the parade on the alumni house’s front lawn.

SAC Packs
SAC Packs is a program specifically formed by and for SAC. On the Saturday before finals week all Leadership Council Members get together and stuff care packages for the freshman whose parents have ordered them a SAC Pack and deliver them that day. Students can then use these goodies to help them while studying long hours for Finals. Also a huge Fundraiser for SAC’s programming budget.
Green Machine
The Green Machine is the official student cheering section at basketball games and volleyball games. The Green Machine began in 2006 from the creative minds of SAC Leadership Council members. Green Machine attends all games and awards points each game to the students who show up, then hands out prizes based on these points.
Best Teacher Awards
This program invites all students to nominate a teacher whom they feel teaches them in the best way possible. Students write a brief nomination paper and a committee is chosen from Leadership Council and general members to give the award to the best candidate.
University Ring Program and Ceremony
CSU’s newest tradition. Students and alumni who purchased an official CSU class ring will be presented with their ring at a ceremony. Students with 60 credit hours or more are eligible for purchasing the ring.

Distinguished Alumni Brunch
and Award Ceremony
Key student leaders attend a brunch, held by the SAC leadership council and the alumni association, with notable alumni who are receiving awards at the ceremony/dinner that evening.
Painting of the A
SAC leadership council and general members join up with the SAE fraternity and other Greek groups to hike up the hill and repaint the A, which stands for Aggies an old mascot in the University’s history.
Dinner with 12 Strangers
Students have a unique opportunity to network with alumni in a personal and private setting. Alumni hosts offer dinner at their house for 11 students who reserve seats by contacting the Leadership Council. Also 2 members of Leadership Council go to offer help and support to the Alumni host.

Etiquette Program and Dinner
SAC teams up with Target, ASCSU, the Career Center and the Alumni Association to host an etiquette dinner and fashion show that teaches students how to behave on lunch/dinner interviews with employers. The fashion show teaches students what to wear and what not to wear in the professional setting.
