History of Student Alumni Connection

Student Alumni Connection was founded in 1995 as a student organization working cohesively with the Colorado State University Alumni Association to encourage students to become more integrated with the alumni who came before them. When it was first founded SAC had 20 members. As the years continued the number of members increased and the structure of the organization changed.

Today we have a Leadership Council and a general membership available

The SAC Leadership Council is a diverse co-ed student organization of 26-30 students dedicated to fulfilling the unique ideals:
-Keeping Ram Pride and CSU history/ traditions alive
-Raise awareness of the Alumni Association
-And promoting quality interactions between students and alumni.

General Membership presents opportunities where students can begin to:
- immerse themselves in the Student Alumni Connections ideals without the formalities of the Leadership Council.

Simply Put:
-Leadership Council is the primary planners of programs and opportunities for leadership development and alumni interaction
-General members are the secondary support system and beneficiaries of these events.
