50 Year Club

The 50 Year Club is mile marker for our graduates. All Colorado A&M and CSU graduates from 50+ years ago are members of the 50 Year Club.

We have an annual gathering on the Friday of Homecoming & Family Weekend:

• The Hospitality Suite is located in the Lory Student Center and is open from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• The 50 Year Club Luncheon is located in the Lory Student Center from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Cost: $20.

CRITERIA

• Graduated from CSU, Colorado A&M, CAC, or SAC at least 50 years ago
• Career success/accomplishments that reflect the value of an education at CSU
• Involvement in community service, events, organizations, etc.
• Demonstrated service/support to Colorado State University as a student or alumnus (e.g. volunteer roles, committees, boards, athletic support, donated time, talent, or financial resources, etc.)

HOW DO I NOMINATE SOMEONE FOR THE 50 YEAR CLUB AWARD?

• Complete the attached nomination form as fully as possible.  Use your own paper if preferred and use this form as a guideline.  Please type if possible.
• Be as specific as possible, and attach additional sheets as needed.
• Attach candidate’s resume, if available.
• Attach letters of recommendation from those who are familiar with the nominee’s accomplishments and service, if available.
• Attach copies of articles, photographs, or other supporting information.

NOMINATION DEADLINE

Nominations must be submitted by Monday, July 16th, 2007.  Nominations will be held and considered for three years. 

WHEN WILL THE AWARD BE PRESENTED?

The 50 Year Club Recognition Award will be given during the annual 50 Year Club Luncheon during Homecoming. 

AWARD RECIPIENTS
