Scholarship Funds                   

 

Alumni Legacy Scholarship

This scholarship is funded through the purchase of 
CSU license plates as well as direct donations. This scholarship
benefits full-time undergraduates who have had a parent(s),
step-parent(s) and/or grandparent(s) graduate from Colorado
State University. Students must be in good academic standing and demonstrate service and leadership to their community. Scholarship recipients are expected to participate in select Alumni Association activities. The Legacy Scholarship was awarded for the first time in 2005.
Currently four $2,500 scholarships are awarded per year.

 

Jim & Nadine Henry SAC Scholarship

This fund was set up in honor of Jim & Nadine Henry in recognition of their commitment and dedication to Colorado State University and the Alumni Association. The scholarship will be awarded to an active member of the Student Alumni Connection (SAC). The Alumni Association awarded the first Henry SAC Scholarship in the spring of 2007.

 

CSU Alumni Association Metro Denver Scholarship

Formerly the Green & Gold Gala Scholarship, this fund is supported by individual donations and fundraising efforts from Denver area events.  Scholarships from this fund are awarded to deserving CSU students from the Metro Denver area (including the counties of Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas and Jefferson).  Applicants must be an undergraduate junior or senior enrolled fulltime.

 

Wyoming CSU Alumni Scholarship

The scholarship was established by alumni from the state of Wyoming. Its purpose is to assist Colorado State University undergraduates from Wyoming who have financial need, with consideration of merit. Typically, one $900 scholarship is awarded each year.

 

Al Lear Scholarship

This will fund scholarships to graduates of Windsor High School (CO) who lettered in 2-3 sports for three years with good academic standing. Consideration will be given to academic achievement, leadership and character.

 

Class of 1956 Scholarship
Funded by the alumni of the Class of 1956, this scholarship benefits full-time freshmen in any major, and is based on scholastic achievement, financial need, demonstrated leadership ability, participation in extracurricular activities, and promise of success.  Typically, one $500 scholarship is awarded each year.

 

Evelyn Jones Scholarship

The scholarship fund was established in honor of Evelyn Jones. It is awarded to freshmen who are sons or daughters of Colorado State University alumni and is based on their academic achievement, financial need, leadership ability, personality, character, and promise of success.  Typically, two $1,000 scholarships are awarded each year.

Activity Funds

 

Alumni Activities/Programs

This fund supports general Alumni Association operations and all areas of student and alumni programming conducted by the Alumni Association.

 

Ram Handlers

These funds are used to cover the costs associated with the Ram Handler program, which includes the care and training of CAM the Ram, CSU’s live mascot, as well expenses to outfit and transport CAM and the Ram Handlers when representing CSU at various events.  To read more about the Ram Handler program click here.

 

Alumni Band Operations

This fund supports the general activities and expenses associated with the Alumni Band special interest group.

Latino/a Operations
This fund supports the general activities and expenses associated with the Latino/a special interest group.
